Research articles:

The aim of this section is to publish rapidly high level original research papers. We generally prefer papers in the research fields of the editors listed below.

Expository papers:

These should present to a large audience some significant aspects of Pure or Applied Mathematics.

The Bulletin of the Belgian Mathematical Society - Simon Stevin publishes papers in English, Dutch, French and German. Papers in Dutch, French or German should begin with a brief English summary.

The author(s) should mention the relevant MSC (Mathematics Subject Classification 2010) codes and the relevant Key Words.

Papers submitted should be sent by e-mail to the appropriate editor (see list below). Write "Submission for the bulletin of the BMS" in the Subject header. Do NOT send papers to the Editor-in-Chief (unless you select him as the appropriate editor), NOR to the managing editor!

Authors are requested to keep at least one year between two subsequent submissions.

Manuscripts must be produced in L_AT_EX, T_EX or AMST_EX. If your paper is accepted, you will be asked to send the tex file by e-mail.

Authors will receive a pdf file of their paper as it appeared in print.

Since January 2003, the Bulletin of the Belgian Mathematical Society -- Simon Stevin is part of an aggregation of electronic journals under the name Project Euclid. This is an initiative of Cornell University Library.

Our contract, however, stipulates that we get a written agreement of the authors of the papers that appear in our bulletin to put their paper online and make it electronically available for the subscribers to Project Euclid. This does neither interfere with the usual printing of the Bulletin, nor does it entail a transfer of copyright.

Each volume of the Bulletin contains four issues of 182 pages and a supplement. The publication dates of these four issues are February 15, May 15, September 15 and November 15.

The subscription price for Volume 19 (2012) is EUR 20 for individual members and EUR 125 for institutional members.

All back issues of Vol.1 (1994, 5 issues), Vol. 2 (1995, 5 issues + 2 Supplements), Vol. 3 (1996, 5 issues + 2 Supplements), Vol. 4 (1997, 5 issues) and Vol. 5 (1998, 5 issues + 1 Supplement) are available at the price of EUR 35 (postage included).
Back issues of Vol. 6 (1999), Vol. 7 (2000) and Vol. 8 (2001) (4 issues of 160 pages) are available at the price of  EUR 35 (postage included).
