BeNeLux Mathematical Congress

The BMS, KWG and SML join forces to organise the next BeNeLux Mathematical Congress.

Poster of the event

Dates:  Tuesday April 7th and Wednesday April 8th 2026.

Venue: The conference took place in building S.R (briefly "R") of the “stadscampus" of Universiteit Antwerpen. Directions and a campus map can be found here.

Equipment of the lecture halls: Each lecture hall is equipped with a blackboard (+ chalk and sponge) and a projector and a docu cam. There will be at least 1 mathematician from the University of Antwerp in each lecture hall to help with the projector (login via desktop, transfer of files via USB-stick or browser/email, laser pointer etc.) and microphone. It is also possible to connect a laptop via HDMI or mini-USB directly to the projector.

    Registration is closed.

Keynote speakers:  Jessica Fintzen, Kathlén KohnChristoph Thiele, and Nathalie Wahl

Scientific committee:  Tom Mestdag, Sonja Hohloch, Yvik Swan, Céline Esser, Joost Vercruysse (BMS), Joris Bierkens, Mireille Boutin, Hermen Jan Hupkes (KWG) and Mark Podolskij, Gabor Wiese, Karin Melnick (SML)

Local organizing committee: Sonja Hohloch, Tom Mestdag

Accomodation: Participants wishing to stay in Antwerp during the conference are advised to book their accommodation through standard hotel booking websites. Several hotels are located near Antwerp Central Station, which is about a 15-minute walk from the conference venue. Please note that the organizers have no agreements with any hotels and will not arrange accommodation on behalf of participants. Be alert to phishing emails that claim to offer hotel arrangements in the name of the conference—these are not sent by the organizers. For junior participants, we can recommend the following two youth hostels. They are popular and tend to fill up quickly: ASH and Pulcinella.

Poster session: Usual poster format is A0 portrait (but smaller formats are also fine). Pins to fix the posters to the boards will be provided.

Titles and Abstracts:  Keynote and Parallel Session Talks and Poster Session
