Mathematics in the age of Artificial Intelligence and General Assembly 2026

Given the profound transformations, challenges and opportunities that Artificial Intelligence seems poised to bring to the field of mathematics, the Belgian Mathematical Society has considered it important to convene its community for a meeting devoted to this timely and pressing issue. The programme will combine presentations and discussions centred on the impact of these developments.

We are happy to invite you to the "Mathematics in the age of Artificial Intelligence" meeting which will take place on Wednesday December 16 2026 at ULB, Campus Solbosch (auditorium R42.5.503, building R). On this occasion we will also organise the society's general assembly.
